Week 18 - A new year, new hopes and dreams
Week 18 of 2014 was my last week of being 25 years old. As of today it's a brand new year for me, full of new opportunities, new hopes and dreams and new starts.
This year I want to ...
- spend more time with my family
- spend more time with the boyf
- improve my art and illustration
- spend some time in the sun
- go on a picnic
- reconnect with old friends
- fill my blog with illustrations I can be proud of
- worry less
- host a bbq in our garden
- take more photos
- get out and meet new people
- start looking for a house to buy with the boyf
- go on a long walk in the countryside
- ensure I'm in a job I love
- start letting the cat out at night
- send friends and family postcards, just because
- pay more love and attention to the degus
- spend a day at the beach
- put one of my paintings on the wall
- sing Christmas songs all through December
- create an iPad case from one of my paintings
- kiss the boyf at midnight on new years eve
- visit somewhere I've never been before
- go on a bike ride
- make a snowman
- paint a tote bag
- focus more on today rather than tomorrow
Rather than an illustration to celebrate my year, I thought a little montage of pics would be best! (I realise this is cheating my 52 project slightly, but it's my birthday, so I can break the rules!)
(*photo montage edited with my new photoshop actions from A Beautiful Mess!)
It's a year for big dreams and little goals. What are you hoping for this year?
