2018 Catch up – January

So… is June too late for a January catch up?

Now that the sun is shining and the cat is melting on the window sill, January, and winter, feels like a pretty long time ago. Although, at the time, it felt like it might never be warm again!

2018 started the same way the last 6 years have started; with my fav annual project, and was swiftly followed by a new crazy project that would last until mid March.

I didn’t create a lot of art in January, which makes me sad, but I did buy a brand new printer so that I could finally start doing art prints!

However, 6 months later, I still haven’t quite figured out how to set the colours properly, so prints are still on hold for the moment!

Above are my first tests, and I’m so close to being happy with them, but not quite happy enough!

In other sketchbook news, January was filled with fairies…

magic…

and adventures…

So all in all, what more could you want for the start of the year!
